This site was created originally with a GeoCities account at Yahoo back in 1999 as a place to store all of the short stories I had written.
In 2002, I decided that it would be better to have my own site in order to store everything and used Yahoo to host it. The original design was horrible, and if you don’t believe me just go the Way Back Machine at Archive.org and see for yourself!
In 2003, the site moved to a new hosting service that offered me much more space, and the move to the new host correlated with a personal move to a new city for myself.
In 2005, I discovered WordPress and upgraded my site to include the CMS because I thought it would be a better way of handling all of the short stories that I had.
In early 2008, my site suffered a small meltdown and I had to start over, losing all of the stories I had saved. Part of the restructuring was a sub-domain that would hold the stories (once I found them all again) and then my regular blog.
In May 2008, I wrote a post in my blog in which I used a repeated symbol to represent 2 letters of the word fucking, and Google banned my site, showing a warning message to all visitors that my site contained bad ware and they should stay away.
In order to get Google to put my site back on the clean list, I had to remove absolutely everything from my site.
Today, I am still trying to get it back to the levels I had it before Google banned me.
